SMS Terms (Transactional Messaging)

ShootGlow and studios using ShootGlow may send transactional text messages (SMS) related to photography bookings and account security. This page describes the SMS program so you (and wireless carriers reviewing the program) can verify consent, purpose, and opt-out.

Program purpose

Messages may include:

  • Booking confirmations, reminders, and schedule-change notices
  • Payment or invoice reminders related to a booked session
  • One-time passcodes (OTP) / phone verification codes when phone sign-in is enabled
  • Other transactional notices needed to fulfill a studio session you requested

ShootGlow does not use this program for marketing or promotional campaigns.

Who sends messages

Messages are sent by ShootGlow (or by a messaging provider on ShootGlow’s behalf) for the photography studio you booked with. The studio remains responsible for the session relationship; ShootGlow operates the messaging platform and compliance tooling.

Opt-in

Consent is collected on the public booking contact step via an optional checkbox (unchecked by default) that discloses SMS purpose, frequency, HELP/STOP keywords, and rates. Phone is required for contact; SMS consent is not required to complete a booking. Checking that box and completing a booking records SMS opt-in on your client record for that studio. Leaving the box unchecked means you will not be enrolled in this SMS program.

Studios adding clients manually in the studio app do not use that booking checkbox; SMS marketing is out of scope for this program.

Message frequency

Frequency varies based on your bookings and account activity (for example a reminder before a session, a notice if a time changes, or an OTP when signing in). You will not receive a fixed daily blast from this transactional program.

HELP and STOP

  • Reply STOP to opt out of further SMS from this program (where supported by the carrier pathway). Opt-out is recorded on your client record.
  • Reply HELP for help information.
  • Opting out of SMS does not cancel your booking or stop essential email notices related to an existing relationship.
